Can I take my aligners out?
Yes, you can! Your aligners are designed to be removed whenever you eat, and when you brush and floss your teeth. Your aligners are designed to be worn for long periods each day, (usually around 20 to 22 hours a day). After you have finished eating or brushing and flossing your teeth, please ensure you pop your aligners back in and keep them in until your next meal, and it is especially important to wear them while you are asleep.
How long does aligner treatment take?
Aligners can take anywhere from approximately 4 to 24 months to work their magic. However, this timeframe varies from patient to patient, and depends on the complexity of treatment required and each patient’s individual needs. However, because aligners are usually tolerated a lot better than traditional braces by most patients, a lot of our patients report that the time went by very quickly!
Is aligner treatment right for all patients?
Aligner treatment does suit the vast majority of people, however, if for some reason you are not suited to aligner treatment, our team will be able to recommend the right treatment for you! Â

How do I care for and clean my clear aligners?
At your insert appointment, we will show you all the cleaning procedures required to keep your aligners looking great! They are very easy to care for. If you forget how to clean your aligners correctly, please give one of our friendly team a call and we can help you out. We recommend using a denture cleansing tablets or solution and water; we will guide you through this process during your insertion appointment.
