Implant Supported Full Mouth Prosthesis

Individualised

Each treatment is planned on an individual basis and whilst certain patients may need additional more than four implants on occasion or other procedures for appropriate long term support, we always aim to avoid prolonged treatment duration with advanced techniques that afford minimal disruption to our patients’ day-to-day life and function.

Problems We Solve With Dental Implants

01

Single
Implants

The process of getting conventional dental implants requires between 3 and 6 months. The process uses three components, the implant which is placed in the jawbone, the metal abutment that is screwed in the implant, and the crown that matches your natural teeth.

02

Implant Supported
Bridges

Implant-supported bridges will provide you with a permanent, fixed and functional tooth replacement option. Generally, an implant-supported bridge will consist of one of more ‘pontic’ crowns in the middle, surrounded by ‘retainer crowns’ that are attached to dental implants.

03

Implant supported full
mouth prosthesis

Unlike traditional dentures, implant-supported dentures anchor directly to your jawbone using dental implants. As a result, they offer more stability for chewing and speaking. There are removable and nonremovable implant-supported denture options, depending on your needs.

It’s About Quality of Life

Using advanced procedures pioneered at our clinic, combined with recent advances in medical and dental technology have led to expanded areas of clinical practice never thought possible.
With such advancements adding to one of the most researched and successful
treatment modalities in dentistry to date, dental implants are today considered the
standard of care for many oral conditions, and the best alternative to natural teeth or
dentures for many who have lost or are about to lose their teeth.

Using advanced procedures, we have been able to reverse the visual and functional effects of tooth loss.  Effects that can be more far reaching than functional difficulties or poor appearance alone; which may often also affect a person’s entire personality, their confidence and self-esteem. When we restore function and improve the appearance, this often translates into improved confidence as well as many other aspects of everyday life. It’s about quality of life.  At Glenroy Dental Group, we believe that being able to eat and function should not be an exclusive privilege, but a basic human right.

We strive to make a difference being driven by our deep seated belief that “happiness begins with a smile”, and we are proud of our results having given many thousands of our patients a second lease on life with our treatment methods, and something to smile about.

dental implant cost

This treatment offers tremendous value in terms of aesthetics, function and durability when done correctly. By choosing us you know you are getting the best possible care by implant  experts, and an authentic product at the most competitive price. Though there is a significant initial investment, All on X is an excellent investment in your health and happiness.

The cost of All On X dental implants to replace a full set of upper or lower teeth starts at $10,000

This is using the standard process involving fitting of initial provisional set of teeth constructed using a denture like prosthesis adapted over the implant fixtures, and is offered as the most cost effective or budget option.  This option is for a removable prosthesis.  The other option is to have a fixed prosthesis, this is the gold standard of care. It is more expensive than a removable prosthesis, however, a lot of our patients choose this option for aesthetic and functional reasons.

We offer different choices for patients to have the absolute best in terms of value, comfort, and aesthetics.

The maintenance of the bridge (replacement teeth) is simple and can be undertaken by any local dentist or hygienist.
Every patient is slightly different and has unique needs and it is impossible to ascertain suitability or the exact treatment or cost without an assessment by one of our dental implant experts.

We provide every patient with a detailed printed treatment proposal and quotation following their consultation visit.
We fully understand that implants may not be affordable to every patient, but those who do undertake these treatments typically find great value in being able to enjoy not only a great smile, but improved confidence, ability to eat all foods, and overall an improvement in quality of life.

Course of  treatment

The course of treatment described below is the most common process for an All On X procedure at our clinic, but is one of several other options depending on findings at your initial consultation.

forever to her dentures.

Step - 1

Free Pre-Consultation Interview

Before being examined by a trained dentist to establish a diagnosis and treatment plan for you, some of our clinics offer a pre-consultation service where you would see a member of the dental team, such as a technician or a clinical coordinator, who have been sufficiently involved in the entire process by working side-by-side with the dentist performing the operations to enable them to explore in general various treatment options and discuss in some detail the All On X Dental Implants Procedure. You may ask to see some of our work for patients with similar conditions to yours, and for any particular information that you may be interested in.

Appointment Duration : 30 minutes

This is a complimentary service but is not offered at all times. To find out if this service is available please contact our friendly team.

Step - 2

Consultation with an Expert

Make an appointment for a consultation with one of our trained All On X Implant Dentists who will oversee your treatment once you decide to proceed. The dentist will examine your mouth, explore all your treatment alternatives and determine the most appropriate solution to fit your individual needs and expectations. Where there appears to be non-All-On-X treatment option and when appropriate you may also need to see another team clinician to examine the viability of those options that do not involve the removal of your teeth, if any.

Appointment Duration: 30-60 minutes.
Approximate Fee: $150

Step - 3

X - RAYS

Special x-rays called cone-beam CT (CBCT) scans are needed to complete your diagnosis, determine your suitability for any sort of treatment, and plan the positioning of the fixtures. We have an onsite radiology service that is bulk billed whenever possible.

Approximate Fee: The assessment of your x-rays is included in the fee of your consultation with the dentist, but where bulk-billing is not available, there will be a separate fee for the CBCT, part of which may be claimable through Medicare.

Your treatment plan

After the dentist has assessed your health, x-rays and clinical situation, you will be given a treatment plan which outlines all the treatment stages as well as the costs involved. This, again, is included within your consultation fee.

Step - 4

Mock Up and Pre-Operative Work-Up

Once you decide to proceed with oral rehabilitation involving any of our treatments All On X, Implant supported dentures, you will need to attend the clinic for photos, models and other records as required, so as to enable the dentist to plan the optimal set-up of the replacement teeth in terms of both appearance and function.

Appointment Duration: 30-60 minutes.
Approximate Fee: It may cost around $350.

    Frequently

    Asked Questions

    What are dental implants?

Dental implant is the process where a prosthetic tooth is surgically fixed in place of a missing tooth.

There are three parts in dental implant:

    • A screw that is fixed within the bone
    • An abutment is a piece that basically connects the prosthetics to the implants
    • A crown that is placed over the abutment. It is a cover that imitates the look of your natural teeth. It looks natural, is functional like the remaining teeth, and feels comfortable also.

When the place of the extracted teeth is left empty, the jawbone begins to shrink. The structure of the face is impacted, making you look much older than you actually are. Missing teeth also impact your ability to chew, bite, speech and cause problems of the jaw joint in the future.

The benefits of dental implant are:

    • Strong, durable, and protected teeth
    • Naturally functional set of teeth
    • Comfortable and natural
    • Reduced speech impairment
    • Restores and safeguards the natural shape of the face, mouth, and jaws
    • The design of dental implants matches the colour and composition of your existing teeth, creating a natural-looking smile
    • They are incredibly secure and stable, giving you the confidence to eat, speak, and smile without fear of movement or shifting
    • Implants require the same maintenance as natural teeth during regular brushing and flossing, as they are permanently affixed in the mouth, which means that they are very easy to care for

The process of getting dental implants is suitable for all ages, including those who possess less jaw bone. The process of bone grafting allows them to get the required bone density and then undergo the dental implant process.

Patients who lack the required bone density to perform dental implant surgery, we add more bone and make the area suitable to perform dental implant surgery. The process takes very less time and can be performed on the same day as the dental implant surgery. But for patients who require more bone density, the bone placement is performed at least 3 months before the dental implant surgery.

If you follow the advice of our dentists and practice good oral care at home and come for regular dental check-ups, then dental implants can last you a lifetime.

Diseases, genetics, nutritional requirements, along with a few other factors, also influence the durability of dental implants. However, having good oral health with regular dental visits post-treatment mostly tends to decide the success rate and longevity of dental implants.

Glenroy Dental Group offers premium-quality prosthetics and highly skilled dentists to perform dental implant surgery.

The success rate of dental implants in Australia is very high, around 98%, for most individuals.

Our dentists advise patients to quit smoking before they undergo surgery to have dental implants placed.  The success rate for smokers on average is statistically lower than that of non-smokers.
